The final product is the only anti-ageing product that you need.

This product is great for all signs of South Asian ageing namely - dry skin, uneven skin tone, pigmentation and skin renewal.

Star ingredients are saffron, turmeric, licorice and patented bakuchiol oil and last, but not least Ghee.

If you are South Asian you'll recognize all of these ingredients as those that we grew up with and our an integral part of South Asian beauty heritage. It is the honour of my life to be able to make this and present this product to you.

Instructions for use:

Use on damp skin, preferably at night. Can be used as a standalone product or as the last step of your night routine.

Patch testing 24 -48 hours before use. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician

Staining

This product does leave an orange tinge because of the high percentage of saffron used. Please be mindful of this as it may stain pillowcases and clothing.

I initially designed this product for my mother: and if you have an Indian mother, you’ll know how fussy and fastidious they can be. She wanted the product to soften her skin (which the ghee does) but also brighten it (which the saffron does).

Organic ghee is a powerhouse of vitamins and other anti-oxidants and in Ayurveda, ghee is known as a skin-rejuvenating (“Rasayana) as it deeply heals, nourishes, and moisturizes the skin.

Saffron has been used for thousands of years in Ayurvedic skincare treatments and is renowned in South Asia to impart a glowing complexion. Between you and me, Saffron is also an excellent skin lightener, acts as an anti-oxidant and is anti-inflammatory.

This balm is painstakingly made over several hours under the gentlest of conditions, to derive as much as possible nutritional benefit from the saffron. Because of the composition of ghee and this process of manufacture, the product is the perfect carrier of saffron into the deeper layers of the epidermis (skin).
